What an exciting year this has been for me! My little blog has grown so much since I started back in March…much more than I ever anticipated! When I first started, I used a Blogger account (and a different blog name). I knew the only people reading it would be my family and friends and that was just fine with me. As I kept getting positive feedback from them and also seeing what other bloggers were doing, I decided to switch over to WordPress.com AND change my blog’s name so I could have a little more ‘professional’ look. Well, after using that for a few months, then I decided to switch over to the self-hosted version of WordPress so I could have a lot more customization options available to me. It’s been so much fun for me! And a lot of work! I didn’t realize how much work a blog can be to keep up and maintain all the different aspects of it. However, I’ve really been enjoying it and I’ve learned so much. (Plus, I’m learning new things every single day!!) Someone even asked me for advice on starting their own blog the other day!
My blog has really been growing lately and I’m so excited about that. So far this month, my blog is right at 9,939 page views for December. My goal is to reach 10,000…I think it can be done! 🙂 To compare, last month I had just 4,424 page views and the two months before that I hovered around 2,500 views! I’m really hoping I can keep the momentum going in the new year. It’s been a lot of fun to watch my audience grow. Seeing new email subscribers or Pinterest followers always makes my day…and getting new “likes” on Facebook is probably a little too exciting for me these days! ha! I’m loving that I can share my new-found passion with so many people on a daily basis. Thank you for all your support!

All of the above are great recipes…HOWEVER, my personal favorite recipes top 10 list would be a little different. Would anyone like to see a list of MY favorite recipes for the year? Thinking a top 10 post of my family’s favorite recipes might be in order for tomorrow! Because who doesn’t like a countdown on New Years Eve. 🙂
